Your emotional well-being

Too often we blame our emotional state on external factors; friends, family, spouse, and other circumstances out of our sphere of influence. 
However, emotions begin internally; meaning these external factors can only affected your emotional well-being if you allow them to. Understanding this can allow you to remain “happy” regardless of what is happening around you. 
Happiness can become a choice when one remains in a state of contentment.
