The importance of seeking sound knowledge

May Allah reward the translator abundantly

A group of people left the study of knowledge and the gatherings of scholars and took up praying and fasting until the skin on their bones became dry. Then they went against the Sunnah and were destroyed, spilling the blood of the muslimeen. I swear by Allah, no one does an action upon ignorance except what he corrupts is more than what he rectifies.

– Imam Muhammad ibn Sirin
