It is from a slave’s understanding of the deen..

It is from the slave’s understanding (of religion) to take care of his emaan and beware of what decreases it, andto understand if his emaan is increasing or decreasing. And to know the ways shaytan tries to tempt him.

The carefree life..

There is no goodness in him…

Don’t be stingy..

“Generosity conceals any fault just as stinginess conceals any good quality.”

Each heart has a cloud…

The Messenger salla Allahi alayhi wa sallam said: (There is no heart except that it has a cloud like the clouds of the moon: while the moon is shining, it gets covered with a cloud and it gets dark; but when the cloud leaves it, the moon goes back to its shine)

Reported by al-Tabarani in al-Awsat and Abu Naim in al-Hulya. It is declared to be hasan by al-Albani in al-Silsilah al-Sahihah

The reward for helping your brother in his passing away..

Allāh’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said, “A person who washes a (deceased) Muslim and keeps anything he sees to himself, Allāh will forgive him forty times over. Anyone who digs a grave for him and buries him in it would be granted a reward similar to providing him a house in this world until the Day of Rising. Whoever shrouds the deceased, Allāh will clothe him on the Day of Rising with the silk of Paradise.”

[Bayhaqī 3:354, Ḥākim said it was ṣaḥīḥ with Dhahabī agreeing, and ibn Ḥajr, al-Dirāyah #140 said the isnād was strong.]

Sincerity and love of Ibn Abbas for the ummah

Ibn Abbas said:

“I do not hear of a Muslim ruler who is just in his ruling except that I love him even though I have no dealing with him. I do not hear of rain falling on one of the lands of Muslims except that I am delighted for them even though I have no livestock there. And I do not come across a verse from the Qur’an except that I wish that all Muslims would know of it as I know.”

.. like a dead camel

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet ﷺ‎ said, “Whoever supports his people in oppression is like a dead camel that falls into a well and is pulled out by its tail.”

– Musnad Imam Ahmad 4141

*Ba’eer* بعير

Is the type of camel that is able to be ridden and carry heavy weight. That occurs once it reaches four years old. The word ba’eer is used for both the male and female camels.

In surah Yousuf

They said, “We are missing the measure of the king. And for he who produces it is [the reward of] a camel’s load, and I am responsible for it.” [Surat Yusuf 72]

And when they opened their baggage, they found their merchandise returned to them. They said, “O our father, what [more] could we desire? This is our merchandise returned to us. And we will obtain supplies for our family and protect our brother and obtain an increase of a camel’s load; that is an easy measurement.” [Surat Yusuf 65]

Therefore Ba’eer is the most useful type of camel. It is as rasool sallallaahu alaihe wa sallam wished to emphasise how shameful such an act is by stressing that the person was fully able to be of use to his people and benefit them, yet he became a burden for them and only increased the difficulties they faced through his actions.

What hifz really means..

Ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه said:

Hifz (memorising/protecting) the Quran is not by doing hifz of the words. But rather, it is done by establishing its boundaries.

From the Prophetic manners..

Meeting people with a smiley welcoming face is from the prophetic manners (of Rasool صلى الله عليه و سلم) and it is in contradiction with arrogance and brings about love.
