قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : ” مَنْ زَهِدَ فِي الدُّنْيَا هَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمُصِيبَاتُ ، وَمَنِ ارْتَقَبَ الْمَوْتَ سَارَعَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ

الزهد لابن أبي الدنيا

Ali رضي الله عنه said:

Whoever takes a path of abstinence in this world will find enduring tribulations easy. And whoever anticipates death will race towards goodness.

‏قال الإمام مالك – رحمه الله :

‏من أحب أن يفتح له فرجة في قلبه وينجو من غمرات الموت وأهوال القيامة فليكن عمله في السر أكثر منه في العلانية

‏- ترتيب المدارك

Imam Malik رحمة الله عليه said:

Whoever desires that his heart be expanded and he be saved from the pangs of death and the horrors of the day of judgement: Then let his actions in private be more than those in public.

قال أبو إدريس الخولانيّ -رحمه الله-:

لأن أرى في المسجد نارا لا أستطيع إطفاءها أحبّ إليّ من أن أرى فيه بدعة لا أستطيع تغييرها

الإعتصام للشاطبي (1/ 82).

أقول : لكل قول له سياقه الخاص ، و يجب أن يفهم بمنظور علمي. و مع ذلك لقد نشرت هذا الاقتباس لتسليط الضوء على خطر البدع في الدين و كيف كان السلف وحرصهم مع التمسك بالسنة ، و الله أعلم

Abu Idrees al-Khowlani رحمة الله عليه said:

For me to see a fire in the masjid which I am unable to put out is less worrying than for me to see an innovation that I am unable to change.

I say: Every statement has a context and should be understood in an academically. Nevertheless I shared the quote to highlight the dangers of innovations in the religion and the eagerness of the salaf in holding on to the Sunnah.

ابن آدم لو عرفت قدر نفسك ما أهنتها بالمعاصي أنت المختار من المخلوقات ولك أعدت الجنة

لطائف المعارف

ابن رجب سے مروی ہے : بنی آدم اگر تمھیں اپنی صحیح قیمت کا اندازہ ہوتا تو تم کبھی اللہ کی نا فرمانی نہ کرتے۔ تم تو وہ ہو جسکو تمام مخلوقات میں چنا گیا ہے اور تمہارے لیے جنت بنائ گئ ہے۔

Ibn Rajab رحمة الله عليه said:

Son of Adam if you knew your worth you would not degrade it by disobeying (Allah). You are the chosen one from all the creation and for you has paradise been prepared.

قال الحسن البصري – رحمه الله :‏” الصبر كنز من كنوز الخير لا يعطيه‏الله إلا لعبد كريم عنده ” اﻫـ . ‏ ‏📕 الصبر لابن أبي الدنيا‎Al-Hasan al-Basrī رحمه الله said:‎“Patience is a treasure from the treasures of goodness, Allāh does not give it except to those whom He deems as a noble slave.”Ibn abi Dunya: al-Sabr

أغلق النافذة التي تؤذيك ، مهما كان المنظر جميلاً

وہ کھڑکی بند کرلو جو تکلیف دیتی ہے، اگرچہ کتنا حسین نظارہ ہی کیوں نہ ہو-
