ابنُ حجر رحمه الله :

مِن أعظم الأشياء الدافعة

للطّاعون وغيره من البلايا العظام

كثرةُ الصَّلاة على النبي ﷺ

[ بذل الماعون ] صـ ٣٣٣

Ibn Hajar رحمة الله عليه said:

Sending salutations upon the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم is among the greatest ways of repelling a plague and other calamities of similar magnitude.
