Big talk; Little Action

One of the funniest Arabic adages I have heard is:

تمخض الجبل فولد فأر

Which directly translates to

“The mountain labored, and a mouse was born”

And is similar to the adage in English:

“Much ado about nothing.”

Basically, talking big and doing little.
